A BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Fanusi is a Centre aimed at promoting the academic, professional, social and spiritual growth of the woman, specifically university students or students in tertiary level of education, and, young professionals.

 

Fanusi provides a forum for professional, social and spiritual development for pre-university and university students by promoting academic excellence as a means of attaining personal goals and building a better society. Students are encouraged to put their knowledge at the service of less privileged women through community projects in the rural areas and Nairobi slums.

 

These projects have enabled many women to set up a means of livelihood for themselves and for their families, as well as awakening the social consciousness of the students, who are greatly encouraged by the results of their efforts.

 

The doctrinal and spiritual formation given at Fanusi Study Centre is entrusted to Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church.
