ACTIVITIES

Various activities take place in Fanusi to meet the aim of all-round development of the students who come to the Centre. These can be categorized as:-

 

Professional Talks: These include talks on current issues in business and society, as well as career development. Personality Development sessions are also offered weekly in the Centre.

 

Cultural Activities: Beyond class work, various activities are organized to broaden the students knowledge base. These include: foreign languages, UNIV Congress, cookery and cinefora in which a movie is watched and analysed.

 

Social Work Activities: Every month there is a visit to the poor or to the sick in one of the hospitals, children's homes or slum areas nearby. These visits give the participants an opportunity to share their time with the needy, encourage and give them hope. Social activities also include rural projects and The Training of Trainers project.

 

Spiritual enhancement activities: These are geared towards helping students grow in the knowledge of their faith and in their relationship with God, giving a Christian foundation to their lives. Spiritual enhancement activities include: retreats and monthly recollections, weekly meditations and Christian doctrine classes.
